Hi there, I’m Taylor.
from flower farmer to fiction writer
Connections to the land and our past are central themes of everything I write. As a writer, I spend my time crafting rural setting stories of love, hope, and unexpected connections or ruminating on gardening, lost habits & skills, and how we incorporate old ways into our modern lives. I’m glad to have you here!

MEET The Writer
Hello friend
A farm girl from birth, I grew up on a cattle and grain farm in the flatlands of Illinois. With my husband, we now own and operate a flower and cattle farm in southwestern Illinois in the Mississippi River Valley. We homestead here with our extended family and four little kids.
I now have two books published (& more to come!). ‘Til the Cows Come Home is my debut novel. As a writer, I love to plunk away at the keyboard about topics like farming, homesteading, and gardening. My fiction projects usually include rural settings and characters with unique or less well-known jobs and hobbies. I love stories where the past and present collide.
